Chinese folklore says there is an invisible red thread connecting those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but never break.

Nicely woven

Good composition. The string also resembles blood and the fragility of the figure makes this a strong contender to the "meaning of life" category. So many stories and connotations can be derived from this image, both with or without the folklore attached. Got my vote. :-)
