Thanks all for the great comments. I appreciate it more than you know. I'd just like to state for the record that I did not shoot this photo to look satanic. I was simply experimenting and having fun. I'm not really evil or possesed... I promise. ';-D

Your "blue" pics are great !!

I get the Demon part of the theme but where is the speed. The title to this submission was "Speed Demon". Why has it not been addressed and why are people so stuck on this easy and basic shot? Please take the time to look through all the shots before voting. Don't just vote where there are a lot of comments and other votes.

To Sethmcallister: The "speed" in my photo is projected in the movement and light that eminates from the mouth and face. The fact that not all the subject is in clear focus and some ares of the face distinctly show movement blur, depicting speed. I took creative license and did not want to go a typical conventional route. Instead wanted to portray an almost superhero like character that best represents "speed demon". My theory was that most people or photographers would show tons of the typical shots of vehicles or objects, which in many cases, they did . But I will admit, there as some really awesome shots in this compeition. And it's sad that they have not got more votes.

maybe your confused between movement and speed...Maybe if the theme is "COLORED MOTION" this would been a great,great shot. although it has blurry movement, it doesn't give the sense of speed.......SPEED: moving extremely fast

I do not think the guys on Crestock really think at “demons”, was just figurative speech.
Shifted colors on the right hand side and near to the hair, too much red and lots of noise.
You can try to clean the background will look more professional .
None of the subject is in clear focus, so we cannot talk here about, motion blur, selective focus, or soft focus…..?????
A “superhero” type Johnny Bravo does not address at all the theme.
Fast cars, people frozen in mid air are more appropriate.
Creative approach is the picture with the syringes and the drugs, is +++, regarding creativity.
Maybe for others suggest speed for me is just “painting with light”, sorry just a one man opinion.
