Why do I take pictures:
I always see a story emerging from almost anything. When I'm walking around a new city, or taking in scenery in the country, I enjoy capturing the character of the place.
When I don't photograph, I...:
...enjoy cooking. I love the ritual of preparing ingredients, the fragrance when cooking, the colour and texture and, of course, final the result - eating. Similarly I enjoy dining out and trying new dishes. I love the surprise of trying something new and not something you expect.
My favourite photographer, and why:
Ken Duncan is a favourite photographer of mine. He captures the landscape of Australia faultlessly.
