Why do I take pictures:
It is a moment in time when there is a convergence of awareness and presence of beauty or an image wanting to be recorded and noticed. I collect those with my camera. It gives me an outlet to be creative. I feel better after taking pictures of what I consider worthy of noticing and preserving.
When I don't photograph, I...:
wait to photograph. I wait for moments to be photographed. I also have a life. It includes three children a house and a job that's driving a semi all over the country.
My favourite photographer, and why:
I like Hansel Adams. His photographs of nature are timeless. They are also sensual and provocative. They give me tingles.
The meaning of life, in my opinion:
Life is a gift that keeps on giving. It is a journey to self discovery and acceptance. Life well lived is a store of delights. I live and do not to have regrets.
