although it gets the point across and its crisp... i just thinks its really simple... some of the white textures in the background were nice with contrast to the moon.

that's what I was going for Burg. Too many of the other submissions are just a multitude of layers slapped on top of each other without any coherency.

I honestly do think this is bad. The pose is awkward at best. (I actually thought his feet were supposed to be speakers, and boy does santa have chicken legs) The lighting (read shadows, or lack thereof) is horrible, and it's not that innovative. There are plenty of submissions using that image as a hill that are much better. Sorry!

Hey PhotoGod, you don't have to be sorry. It's your opinion, and you're entitled to it...sorry to hear you don't like it.

as with other entries, we are all spending too much time on these few while other excellent entries are stagnating with 7-8 votes. really good ones. let's make this round a competition and less of a runaway train like the last round. remember, the piece that caused the most controversy won, and i think that's sad (not that it is not a good piece). get out there and vote, otherwise you end up with a bush as your leader.

I agree dude. I went through all the entries, and I must have voted on about 15 entries myself...ones I thought were good. I think a lot of submitters simply won't vote on pieces they feel deserve a vote because they feel threatened.....my .02
