There were so many amazing entries in the Final Round of the Crestock Photoshop Contest, but in the end only one contestant walks away with the grand prize. Check out the top entries in the Final Round here!

Since there has been much discussion about the public voting over the last couple of weeks, we would like to point out that rarz's winning entry gained an unprecedented lead on the other contestants during the judges' voting. Even if the public votes had been disregarded altogether, this image would have been the clear and undisputed winner of the final round.

no judges
By yes on Friday, 21 December 2007 2:10 PM
I am sure there were no judges. The decision was made by Crestock itself.

did you see this one dear judges?

By for god's sake on Friday, 21 December 2007 2:19 PM
yea right, you did your best to spam everyone, how come it didnt get the (spamming) award it deserved? :x
By dogtrombone on Friday, 21 December 2007 2:21 PM
Congratulations Rarz! Well done.
Daewon, I'm sorry but I'm delighted my piece beat you, because when I first saw yours, I thought that was the winner! :-)
Well done everyone else, especially Ryuneo (22nd). A BIG THANKS to Crestock for the contest, and to all those who voted for my work, and left comments.
By rarz on Friday, 21 December 2007 2:22 PM
Oh also before I can't type, Special thanks to Shiny (Niknak) and everyone else who have supported me along these days, It means a lot!!. I wish my english was good and I could explain my feelings better! Thank you again also to all participants, I think the level of the works was very high!

Good luck you all for next contest!

By HappyFace on Friday, 21 December 2007 2:22 PM
Congrats Rarz! Get ready for some serious neck strain with those two 30inchers haha

My favorite by far was Dogtrombone's one though. Too bad this panel of judges don't recognize a great idea when they see one.

Why, thank you!
long live myspace and devianart
By who cares on Friday, 21 December 2007 2:30 PM
Long live deviantart and myspace friends. Telling everyone on these site to support you is worst than spamming for sure.
By corgan on Friday, 21 December 2007 2:36 PM
What awesome quality on these photoshop works, I’m so impressed, and nearly embarrassed when I compare with my own level. I really like the winner, but the design that came in third by ecosystem is even better, after my opinion. But thank you all. What inspirational contest!
@ nestr
By dogtrombone on Friday, 21 December 2007 2:41 PM
Would you like it if you were holding an exhibition of your work, and some other artist was there inviting everyone to go somewhere else and look at his/her work? Thought not. There is a thing called "manners"... look it up.
By LauriA on Friday, 21 December 2007 2:46 PM
Congrats to Rarz!
Joven canario gana concurso internacional de diseño grafico

Un joven canario que deslumbra en el panorama nacional e internacional arrasa en un concurso de diseño gráfico con un maravilloso trabajo al cual dedico tan solo dos dias.
Thanks to all!
By Crestock on Friday, 21 December 2007 3:03 PM
Once again a big thank-you to everyone for taking time to participate in the contest, it has been wonderful to see all the amazing work that's been produced over the past four weeks just because of our not-so-humble contest. And we hope that it overall has been an enjoyable experience for all of you too.

We'll make sure we take on board all the comments and suggestions from you about how this year's contest has worked out and hopefully come back with an even better contest next year. Perhaps with some more prizes for the runners-up too, they all deserve a prize!
happy it's cloudy today

The winners; blue sky, blue sky, blue sky, blue sky, blue sky, etc. i think i'll put more sky in EVERYTHING i do EVER,

because chumps just eat up that blue stuff.
By nestr on Friday, 21 December 2007 3:40 PM
What if there a groups of artist who were invited to submit to a jury that will choose the winner according to their knowledge and the public present at the show. But few artists invited all their friends to the show.. Guess what? The final decision is influenced by this fact. That is called manner too.
I feel me to small...

Congrats, great work! Great design!!
By Jurek on Friday, 21 December 2007 4:40 PM
Congratulations to the winner, but what the fuck is that in 14th place? A textured background and a guitar thrown over top. GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK! WAY BETTER SUBMISSIONS from 15-25 that the 14th place.

What a joke.

de gustibus non est disputandum
By floodlite on Friday, 21 December 2007 4:50 PM
But I really wish Crestock would eliminate or significantly eliminate the public vote. It's too easy for this to become a popularity contest. Congrats again.
By stugriffith on Friday, 21 December 2007 5:19 PM
The best concept in my opinion. Excellent execution.
By bart on Friday, 21 December 2007 6:10 PM
i should give more sky, and clouds and it will be more creative, haha.

By forate78 on Friday, 21 December 2007 6:28 PM
i am humbled to see the art work in past 4 weeks, i am belittled, there are some amazing artists out there,
its a great great show, well done everyone. would love to learn few tricks from you guys, its just amazing.
of course...
By happydude on Friday, 21 December 2007 6:45 PM
of course something like this would win. No imagination, no creativity, no skills... i'm glad I didn't enter anything into this round after seeing how far the ginger bread house got last round. it goes to show that judges are morons just like everyone else... oh, and I love all the entries with one center object and crap stuck onto it, very creative.
Marcus is the best
By dcasdal on Friday, 21 December 2007 7:13 PM
i think the chosen winner is good...but hey soda is good, cars are good, but eden is spectacular.
By Atribecalledguest on Friday, 21 December 2007 8:29 PM
The winner should have been Marcus'Aurelius, imo. the winning pic is good but the 2nd one should have won

I got 19th with only 12 votes?? Woo! I'm joining Deviant Art to drum up a few more votes next year. Then maybe then I'll really have a chance of winning! ;) Thanks Crestock for the contest. It really helped to get creative juices flowing that have been laying dormant for a few years now. Thanks to my BIL who led me to the contest... I owe you big time for finding me such a time draining event!
By Kuragari_Okami on Saturday, 22 December 2007 5:38 AM
Awww, I really wanted my own computer! *I'll keep trying though, elsewhere*

Si vous voulez voir de belles images réalisées avec Photoshop, c'est par ici: le classement du round 4 et la totalité des participations. Ça n'a rien à voir, mais personnellement je préfère utiliser Paint Shop Pro (en version 9, les suivante...
Congrats and more
By loxleysmith on Saturday, 22 December 2007 5:11 PM
Well done as soon as I saw that one I kind of wished I had not spent a day doing one as I knew it blew me and the others away. Excellent idea.

I had one problem that when I view all the pages by default my entry does not show up, only when I view by comments (I had none originally until getting that spam one) then I show up. I doubt it would alter my low vote but would have made me feel better to know people actually saw my entry.
By lordgivemestrength on Sunday, 23 December 2007 3:35 PM
rarz, that picture is amazing. really beautiful, nice job.

congrats on the kick ass mac pro win! make some more beautiful art!
excellent work
By LittleMissSmilee on Monday, 24 December 2007 5:45 AM
to the winner, excellent job! All the pieces that placed were certainly great photoshop pieces. to those complaining, I don't know why you people have to complain so much. There was certainly a high level of creativity and imagination in each piece so sorry you couldn't come up with as good of an idea.

Great job rarz and all others who placed high!
By Ryowazza on Monday, 31 December 2007 1:12 AM

After few weeks, I realize that the winning image is really great. I am really impressed and I do not understand how I missed to appreciate it.
